As
of 7:40am today, an estimated number of 45 houses were affected when a wall at
the back of Doroteo Jose Station, specifically at Oroquieta St., Sta. Cruz, in
Manila, collapsed. 10 patients (9 children and 1 adult) have been identified
and were brought by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Philippine Red
Cross (PRC) Emergency Response Unit to different hospitals.
Among the 10, one female
patient has been identified with no pulse and no breathing and was brought b
PRC ambulance to Ospital ng Maynila. While one other female patient was
identified as unconscious and was brought to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical
Center.
PRC National Headquarters
Emergency Medical Technicians were immediately dispatched along with Rescue 3,
Medic 4, Medic 8 and Ambulances from PRC Manila and Pasay Chapters.
As of this moment, one
patient is being extricated by PRC ERU and will be catered to the nearest
hospital by the PRC together with the BFP Team.
The social welfare service
team will be stationed in states hospitals to give social support to the
affected families.
